About Michael

Michael Lazaruk is the founder of Lazaruk Law, a general practice he established in Edmonton's Ellerslie neighbourhood in 2010. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology, with distinction, and a Bachelor of Laws, both from the University of Alberta. Before turning to law, he worked as a senior consultant in market research. He articled at a national law firm's Edmonton office and was called to the Alberta Bar, then practised general litigation with a focus on plaintiff personal injury, employment, insurance and commercial matters. He has since pursued additional training in collaborative family law and family law mediation, and his practice now spans personal injury, family law, real estate and general litigation. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Alberta Family Mediation Society.
