About Michael

Michael Gordner has practised criminal law since 1973 and is admitted to the bar in both Ontario and Michigan. He defends clients facing a wide range of criminal charges in Canada and the United States, including impaired driving, drug offences, sexual assault, fraud, environmental and occupational health and safety offences, as well as corporate compliance and internal investigations. He is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a specialist in criminal litigation and also handles criminal and civil tax matters in both countries. He has appellate experience at all levels, including the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and has been a sessional instructor and guest lecturer in criminal law at the University of Windsor since 1994. He has received a Preeminent AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
