About Merv
Merv Nidesh, K.C. focuses exclusively on criminal defence, with experience defending DUI and dangerous driving, drug, computer and privacy, white-collar, violence and domestic assault, sexual offence, homicide, and firearms cases. He appears throughout Saskatchewan, including Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Estevan, Weyburn, and Swift Current, and across Alberta, including Medicine Hat, Calgary, Edmonton, and Lethbridge. He has appeared as defence counsel before the Supreme Court of Canada and handles trials and appeals up to the Court of King's Bench and Court of Appeal levels in both provinces. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan College of Law and a member of both the Saskatchewan and Alberta Law Societies. He also holds a Canadian Securities Course Certificate of Achievement and is a trained mediator and collaborative lawyer, and has been named King's Counsel.
