About Méganne

Méganne Fortin practises family law and youth law, currently as an associate lawyer with Poirier Ducharme Fortin in Sherbrooke. She has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2014 and holds a law degree from the Université de Sherbrooke. She completed her articling in 2014 at the legal aid office in Thetford Mines under Fannie Côtes, now a judge of the Court of Quebec's Youth Division. She began her private-practice career in the Estrie region in 2015, worked contracts at the Sherbrooke legal aid office's civil and youth sections in 2016, returned to private practice in family and youth law in 2017, and opened her own firm in July 2018 before joining Poirier Ducharme Fortin as an associate in January 2021. From 2018 to 2022 she served as a counsellor for the Jeune Barreau of the Saint-François district.
