About Matthew

Matthew Wolfson is a partner at David Anber's Law Office who joined the firm in 2016. He focuses on sexual assault, violent crime, domestic violence, and impaired driving matters, and has conducted numerous trials and contested hearings in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, including jury trials. He also has experience with criminal appeals. Wolfson completed concurrent law degrees at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, after earning a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Public Policy and an M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy from the University of Guelph. During law school he won awards for mock appellate advocacy and published on the exclusion of criminal evidence in Windsor Law's online journal. He belongs to the Ontario Criminal Lawyers Association and the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa.
