Matthew Tomm has practiced law since 2014, focusing on employment law and general civil litigation, and he also handles contentious estate matters for personal representatives, beneficiaries, and third parties. He worked as a judicial law clerk for the BC Superior Court before working at a downtown Calgary litigation boutique and later starting his own practice. He was called to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2014 and has been a member of the Law Society of Alberta since 2015. He has published articles on employment law topics in Canadian Employment Law Today, Labour Notes, and The Barrister Magazine, and his academic writing has appeared in peer-reviewed journals.
