Mary Birdsell is JFCY's Executive Director, with over 30 years of experience representing young people in direct representation, test-case litigation, public legal education, and systemic law reform. She has co-authored a text on youth criminal justice cases and received the Law Society of Ontario's J. Shirley Denison Award.
