About Martin

Martin Lapierre joined Savard et Associes in January 2025. He was previously senior lawyer at the firm Gobeil & Lapierre, alongside Denis Gobeil, from 1999 to 2024. Martin Lapierre has been a member of the Barreau de Quebec since 1996 and is entering his 30th year practicing family and youth law. Over the course of his career, members of the judiciary have called on him to sit on various committees before the Superior Court and the Court of Quebec's youth division, and for several years he served as an advisor to the socio-judicial committee on severe separation conflicts. He has also taught at the Barreau de Quebec's bar school in the law of persons and family, and has pleaded before several courts, including the Quebec Court of Appeal. He generally favours a collaborative approach aimed at resolving matters through negotiation and compromise where possible.
