About Mark

Mark Fletcher leads Fletcher Law Barristers & Solicitors in southeast Calgary, focusing on corporate, commercial, and real estate law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Alberta and a law degree from Dalhousie University in 1988, and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1989. He began his career at a small Calgary firm handling criminal, civil litigation, and securities matters, then moved into corporate roles at Amoco Canada and Home Oil before providing securities law advice to local businesses going public. In July 2011 he took over the corporate, commercial, and banking law practice at McConnell MacInnes, Barristers & Solicitors, ahead of his predecessor's retirement, and later founded Fletcher Law. His practice covers incorporations, business transactions, debt and equity financings, shareholder agreements, residential real estate, and wills and estates.
