About Marjorie

Marjorie Payette is a lawyer practising exclusively in family law and related civil law matters, handling cases involving separation between common-law partners, divorce, child and spousal support, custody, division of family property and matrimonial regimes, paternity recognition, termination of parental authority, and orders permitting travel with children. Payette holds a certificate in criminology (2017) and a law degree (2020) from Université Laval, and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2021. Payette accepts legal aid mandates and can take on some files before the Unified Family Court (TUF).
