About Marie-Claude

Riou began her practice in Montreal before returning to the Estrie region, where she has practised as a lawyer and later as a partner. She advises and represents businesses and individuals in employment and labour law, workplace health and safety, and civil and commercial litigation across the province, and has appeared before the Court of Appeal, the Superior Court, the Court of Quebec, the Tribunal administratif du travail and disciplinary committees. She has particular expertise in CNESST claims and cost-sharing, trains on those subjects, has authored a publication on workers' compensation, and has been a certified human resources advisor since 2016. She offers services in both French and English.
