About Marie-Claude

Marie-Claude Morin is a lawyer, co-founder and partner of Mercier & Morin, admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2007 after graduating from the Université de Sherbrooke. Morin completed a judicial clerkship during law school and articled at a private litigation firm for more than three years before founding Mercier & Morin Avocats Inc. in Saint-Georges, Beauce. Morin focuses primarily on family law, youth protection, and criminal law, handling divorce and separation, child custody, child and spousal support, and division of family property, as well as DPJ (youth protection) matters. In criminal and penal matters, Morin defends clients in impaired driving, dangerous driving, hit-and-run, and drug offence cases, and handles restricted licence applications, infraction notices, and peace bonds. Morin has served as a board member of Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi and Havre L'Éclaircie, is active in the BNI network, and has spoken to the Regroupement des femmes d'affaires de la Beauce.
