About Mariana

Mariana Hohman is a business immigration and employment lawyer whose practice focuses on the issues HR managers face when transferring foreign workers to and from Canada, including labour market opinions, work permit and permanent resident applications, and compliance audits. Before joining Holthe Tilleman LLP, Hohman articled and worked as an associate at a large national firm in Calgary, focusing on corporate immigration and employment law. Hohman immigrated to Canada from Brazil at age six and holds an LL.B. from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. Hohman is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association's Immigration Law Section.
