Mara Li focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, financing, business acquisitions and sales, and family law at Bayview Law in Calgary. She is a Barrister and Solicitor licensed in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. Before becoming a lawyer, she worked in investment banking on mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and equity research, including Bosideng International's US$800 million Hong Kong IPO and the Agricultural Bank of China's US$22 billion Hong Kong IPO, then the largest IPO in history. She holds degrees from Peking University and the University of Toronto, and a J.D. from the University of Windsor, earned in 2023.
