About Lynn

Lynn Ross, formerly Wannamaker, is a Belleville native who has practised criminal law since her call to the bar in 1997. She holds an Honours B.A. from McGill University and an LL.B. from Queen's University. She has worked in private practice, as a Supervisor of Duty Counsel for Legal Aid Ontario, and as an Assistant Crown Attorney in several Ontario locations, appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Ontario in all areas of criminal law, including homicide. Ross has completed multiple jury trials and complex, sensitive prosecutions, and served for many years as the Designated Domestic Violence Crown. She has also taught Advocacy at Loyalist College. Ross lives in Belleville with her spouse and three of their five children.
