About Lucie

Lucie Laperrière Rochefort grew up in the North Bay area and studied at Laurentian University before completing her legal studies at the University of Ottawa in 1990. She articled with a prominent Ottawa firm and was called to the Ontario bar in 1993. Earlier in her career she held positions at the Supreme Court of Canada and Ontario's Ministry of Community and Social Services. She later opened her own practice in North Bay, becoming one of the city's first bilingual female sole practitioners, and built a reputation as one of the area's leading real estate lawyers. She holds a certificate in intensive estate planning and administration from Osgoode Hall Law School's continuing education program.
