About Lonny
Lonny Balbi has more than 37 years of experience representing clients in separation and divorce matters, with a particular focus on spousal support, child support and property division. He is an accredited mediator, arbitrator and collaborative family lawyer who has represented clients at all levels of court in Alberta and also handles matters out of court through mediation and arbitration. Lonny is a member of the Federal Advisory Working Group that advised the Federal Department of Justice on the Spousal Support Advisory Guidelines, a founding member of the Dispute Resolution Officer Pilot Project, and a current Dispute Resolution Officer at the Court of King's Bench in Calgary. He taught Advanced Family Law at the University of Calgary and founded Bike to Work Day in 2008.
