About Lisanne

Lisanne Blanchette is a lawyer, family mediator and insolvency counsellor at dlb Justice, focused on civil, family and insolvency law. She began her career at Aide juridique in youth law and youth criminal justice, then completed an internship at the Bureau international du droit des enfants. She later worked in the community sector, including at Option consommateurs and Éducaloi, explaining legal rights to the public mainly in family and consumer law. Blanchette has been a speaker for various audiences and wrote a column in several media outlets for more than five years. She co-founded dlb Justice with Me Nathalie Darveau-Langevin, aiming to represent clients in a humane, creative way that improves access to justice. She also advises families on personal finances and, where needed, on recovering from over-indebtedness.
