Lee was born and raised in Brantford and graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with a Bachelor of Laws in 1978, then was called to the Bar in 1980. He practised in Toronto before returning to Brantford in 1986, and he was one of the original partners of Trepanier Verity LLP. His practice covers business law, wills and estate planning, estate administration, and real estate.
