About Laughlin
Laughlin J. Campbell is managing partner of Campbells LLP and its principal litigation and trial lawyer, handling major trials and contentious estate matters. He obtained his bachelor's degree at the University of Waterloo before attending law school at the University of Toronto. After articling at the Ministry of the Attorney General, he was called to the bar in 1998 and moved directly into an active litigation practice focused on commercial litigation and administrative law. He has appeared before Ontario's trial and appellate courts, along with tribunals such as the Canadian International Trade Tribunal and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and has represented clients in front of disciplinary bodies for accountants, teachers and professional engineers. His corporate work centers on strategic planning, connecting clients with resources through the firm's network of contacts. Laughlin also remains involved in the firm's real estate and estates practice.
