About Larry

Larry W. Keown has practised as a litigator with Devry Smith Frank since 1997, working across commercial litigation, real estate law, and employment law. His files have covered landlord and tenant disputes, mortgage and banking recovery litigation, title insurance claims, bankruptcy and receivership matters, wrongful dismissal, shareholder disputes, franchise disagreements, construction liens, and estate litigation. He studied psychology and sociology at Brandon University in Manitoba before earning his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School, articling at the firm in 1995 and 1996, and being called to the bar in 1997. He made partner in 2003 and has served as the firm's Managing Partner for more than a decade. Larry has appeared before Small Claims Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court of Canada, the Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
