About Laila
Laila is a senior associate practising family law and child protection matters, including parenting disputes, support, divorce, and division of property and debt. She has trial experience before both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia. Before joining PGS Law she worked with the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund and Pivot Legal Society, articled with Legal Aid Ontario, and was a founding board member of the South Asian Legal Clinic of British Columbia. She now serves as Children's Counsel through the Society for Children and Youth of BC.
