About Kurtis

Kurtis J. MacDonald is a lawyer at MacDonald Law North whose practice focuses on estate and real estate law. He began his career in estate law and real estate litigation with a regional firm and was formerly in-house lawyer for RBC Estate and Trust for Western Canada, based in Calgary. He has appeared on estate and real estate matters before the Provincial Court, Surrogate Court, and the Court of Queen's Bench. He earned his Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2016 and is a member of the Alberta Bar and the Canadian Bar Association.
