About Krishna

Me Krishna Gagné has concentrated her practice exclusively in immigration law since 2019, advising Québec employers recruiting internationally to address labour shortages and assisting foreign workers and families. Before specializing, she practised in litigation — civil, commercial, family and youth-protection matters — and served as legal director for an international company in the Thetford Mines region, where she settled in 2013. Earlier in her career she worked abroad, including at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Tanzania and for an international fraud and asset-recovery practice in the British Virgin Islands. She has been vice-president for economic immigration of the AQAADI (Association québécoise des avocats et avocates en droit de l'immigration) since 2020 and previously held several roles with the Barreau d'Arthabaska. She holds an LL.B. in civil law from Université Laval (2002), a D.E.S.S. in North American common law (2003) and an LL.M. in international law (2005) from Université de Montréal, and was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2006. She practises in French, Spanish and English.
