About Karen

Karen has practiced with Merwar Lawyers since 2005 as part of its Business Law and Corporate groups, acting for entrepreneurs, small and mid-sized businesses, lenders, and commercial landlords on transactions of varying scale. Her clients span industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, commercial and industrial real estate, manufacturing, automotive, hospitality, cannabis, finance, IT, and logistics. Karen holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1996, where she practiced commercial and real estate law before joining the Ontario bar in 2002. She speaks English, Malay, and Hokkien.
