About Joshua

Joshua A. Clarke co-founded the firm that became Armoured Suits and serves as its managing director and a defence lawyer. He earned his B.A. (Hon.) in English and communication from the University of Ottawa in 2002 and his LL.B. from the same university in 2008, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2009. Before practicing law he served as an artillery officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, retiring in 2003. His practice focuses on domestic offences, sexual assault, fraud, drug charges, and impaired driving, and he is a member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa, and the County of Carleton Law Association. He has represented clients in high-profile cases, including a firefighter facing assault and negligence charges connected to an alleged workplace hate crime, and has been interviewed by CBC News and the Ottawa Citizen about his cases.
