About Joni
Joni Dobson is the principal lawyer at MD Lawyers in London, Ontario, practising medical malpractice and personal injury law. Dobson's medical malpractice work includes surgical errors, strokes, delayed diagnosis or misdiagnosis, infectious disease, and birth injuries, and Dobson has represented clients across Ontario for more than 20 years. Dobson earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario in 1999 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2001. Dobson is a director of The Advocates' Society, past chair of the Medical Malpractice section of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and has presented at conferences held by The Advocates' Society, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Middlesex Law Association, and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, including internationally in Scotland. Dobson also guest presents in the Capstone Litigation Class at Western University's Faculty of Law and mentors at the Middlesex Law Association's annual mentoring dinner.
