About John

John McKinnon has led Injured Workers Community Legal Clinic as Executive Director since 1989. He began as a law student volunteer at Parkdale Community Legal Services and worked as a staff lawyer at both the Parkdale and Central Toronto (Kensington-Bellwoods) clinics before joining IWC. He received Osgoode Hall Law School's Dianne Martin Medal for Social Justice Through Law and serves on the executive of the Association of Community Legal Clinics of Ontario.
