About Jessica
Jessica Walton is an associate lawyer at Shulman & Partners LLP practising family law. She completed dual American and Canadian JD degrees at the University of Detroit Mercy and the University of Windsor in 2021. Jessica began her career as a summer student at a prominent GTA family law firm, where she also articled, and became an associate after her 2022 call to the bar in Toronto. While at Detroit Mercy she externed with the Third Judicial Circuit Court's family division in Michigan and earned a book award in the school's family law clinic for the top grade in her class. During her studies at Windsor, she volunteered with the Pro Bono Students Canada Family Law Project, helping litigants navigate family law matters directly.
