About Jennifer

Jennifer Reid, known as Jenny, was born in Calgary and raised in Toronto. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with honours in Economics and Psychology from the University of New Brunswick before graduating from Queen's Law School with an LLB in 1987. She articled and began practicing in Kingston in 1989 and has since practiced law in seven jurisdictions across Canada. Her practice focuses on criminal, family, and mental health law, and she's trained in collaborative law and mediation. Jenny belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, the Association of Legal Aid Lawyers, the Criminal Lawyers Association, and the Canadian Prison Lawyers Association.
