James Hayes is a Canadian and US immigration lawyer at BinHimyar Law Group, called to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2023. He also holds admissions to the Washington State Bar (2018) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (2020), and previously practised immigration law in the United States focusing on removal defense, asylum and appellate work. He now represents clients in refugee protection claims, humanitarian and compassionate applications, immigration appeals and judicial reviews, and offers services in French with some Mandarin Chinese.
