Jaclyn Giffen grew up in Markham and spent summers at a cottage on Pigeon Lake before settling in the Kawartha Lakes area. She articled with a full-service Ottawa firm and was called to the Ontario bar in 2014, then practised briefly in Northern Ontario before launching her Omemee practice in 2015. She has since grown the firm to include offices in Peterborough and Port Perry, focusing on estate planning, estate administration, real estate and corporate law.
