About Isabelle

Isabelle Gagnon practises general litigation, advising businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals across a broad range of legal matters and representing them before the courts. She is also an accredited family mediator. Gagnon began her career in civil and commercial litigation at a large national firm in Montreal, then joined a boutique practice specializing in environmental, municipal and real estate law, before moving to the Gaspésie region in 2017 to found her own office. She holds a law degree, a graduate diploma in environment and sustainable development, and a certificate in international studies, all from Université de Montréal, and also studied European law at the University of Bologna in Italy. Gagnon has served on the board of the Barreau du Bas-Saint-Laurent/Gaspésie/Îles-de-la-Madeleine since 2018, now serves as its bâtonnière, sits on the Barreau du Québec's council of sections, and has served on the Barreau du Québec's environmental law committee since 2016. She regularly participates in pro bono legal clinics serving Inuit communities in the Far North.
