About Ian
Ian Wagner began private practice in Regina before spending eight years with the Federal Department of Justice in Saskatoon as a civil litigator, and now practices both criminal and civil litigation as well as real estate and wills and estates. He has conducted trials and hearings before all levels of court in Saskatchewan. In law school he won several academic honours, including the Brian Dickson Gold Medal at the 1995 Gale Cup Moot and the McMillan Bull Casgrain Award at the 1994 Laskin Memorial Moot. He has lectured on civil procedure at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law and presented on criminal law, conditional sentences, and drug offences at conferences including the World Drug Symposium in Montreal. Wagner is a past president of the Saskatoon Bar Association and has served as a Canadian Bar Association Saskatchewan Councillor.
