About Hawah

Hawah Tembo is trained and qualified as a lawyer in both Uganda and Canada, having been called to the bar in Alberta and Ontario. She has worked in a government setting, a general practice firm, a personal injury firm, and a pro bono legal service organization, and founded Tembo Law to focus on family law and immigration matters. Tembo has volunteered with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre since 2021, providing advice in family law, civil litigation and immigration law, and has sat on the Canadian Bar Association's Legislative Review (North) Committee since 2020. She is listed on the Legal Aid Alberta Lawyer Roster, handling family law and immigration law matters.
