About Guy

Guy Bertrand founded Cabinet Guy Bertrand and has practised law for more than fifty years without interruption. He has appeared before courts at every level across Canada, including multiple appearances before the Quebec Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, in civil, criminal, penal, and constitutional matters, several of which set legal precedent. He is the author of seven books and created a documentary on a futurist work, and is known for his involvement in social, humanitarian, and constitutional debates, including Quebec's constitutional status. In September 2012, the Barreau de Québec awarded him its Council Medal marking fifty years since his admission to the bar.
