About Gurmeet

Gurmeet Singh Chaina is the founder of Sahara Law Corporation, practising family, criminal, real estate, immigration, and wills and estates law in Abbotsford. He has 25 years of experience as a lawyer in India, where he focused on criminal, family, and immigration matters, and later received accreditation from the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta. Earlier in his career, he served as panel counsel for India's Roadways Transport Corporation, Marketing Board, and State Electricity Board, and acted as standing counsel for the Government of India in matters involving the Department of Defence and telecommunications. He is also a licensed notary public.
