About Émilie

Deschenes completed her articling at Carter Gourdeau before her call to the Barreau du Quebec in 2014. Her practice covers insurance law and civil and professional liability, including bodily injury claims, seller and manufacturer liability, and construction and latent defects. She has appeared in civil trial courts, assisted senior lawyers in appellate matters before the Supreme Court of Canada, and teaches at the Ecole du Barreau's Quebec City campus. From 2016 to 2020 she served as secretary on the board of the Association de la releve en assurances du Quebec. She speaks French and English.
