Ellie Marshall advises on privacy, access to information, cybersecurity, AI governance, accessibility, and online safety issues. A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/C), she advises public and private sector clients on data governance matters, including cross-border data transfers and privacy impact assessments. She was counsel to the Toronto Star in the Supreme Court of Canada decision Sherman Estate v. Donovan. She holds a master of science with distinction from the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford.
