About Dren
Dren's practice focuses on child protection, criminal defence, regulatory and related civil litigation proceedings. He completed his articles at a local Okanagan Valley law firm, where he was exposed to family, wills and estates, real estate, and criminal defence work, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in September 2021. Before deciding to practise as a sole practitioner, he worked as an associate lawyer for a boutique Vancouver firm. While at law school he served as a junior editor with the Canadian Journal of Human Rights and as a research assistant studying substitute decision-making authorities for non-competent adults in France. He has represented clients in mediations, ADR meetings, and Family, Judicial and Family Management Case Conferences, as well as before the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. He is originally from Gjakove, Kosovo, and grew up in Vancouver, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Albanian Canadian Lawyers Association.
