About Derek

Derek V. Lee serves as counsel to Sun & Partners. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he earned his law degree from Queen's University in 1973 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1975. He articled with Stikeman, Elliott, Robarts and Bowman and later ran his own firm, Stikeman, Lee and Chenoweth, in a commercial, corporate, and real estate practice. He also served as a Member of Canada's Parliament for 23 years.
