About Deepa

Deepa Tailor founded and manages Tailor Law Professional Corporation in Mississauga, where she has practiced family law for more than a decade. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto before earning her law degree from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law. Deepa started the firm to make quality legal help more accessible to her community, building a team focused on empathy and specialization. Beyond her practice, she mentors aspiring lawyers through the Network of Feminist Legal Mentors and has spoken to law students in the University of Ottawa's Business of Law course. She believes an informed client is an empowered one and approaches each case with attention to the personal toll of family transitions.
