About Deborah

Deborah Howse-Rubenstein is the founder of Howse-Rubenstein Estate Law, a wills and estates practice offering virtual and in-person service across Ontario. She holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation from STEP Canada, recognizing advanced expertise in trusts and estates, and is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Before founding the firm, she worked in the estate and trust industry at a large Canadian trust company, managing complex estate, trust, guardianship, and power of attorney files, and advising clients on will planning and estate administration. She is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, where she received the Dean's Letter for Cumulative Overall Excellence. She practises as both a lawyer and a notary public, focusing on estate planning, probate, estate administration, trusts, and guardianship matters.
