Debora De Thomasis is a criminal and penal law specialist with more than twenty years of experience. She is a past president of the Association des avocats de la défense de Montréal (AADM) and a past vice-president of the Association québécoise des avocats et avocates de la défense (AQAAD). She mentors high-school students in the Juripop mooting competition, whose team reached the final in 2024. She also serves as a reservist with the Canadian Armed Forces' Office of the Judge Advocate General, defending military members charged under the National Defence Act. Over her career she has received a number of professional awards and distinctions for her work in criminal and penal law.
