About Debbie
Debbie O'Connor was born and raised in Ottawa and worked for many years as a real estate and corporate law clerk before earning her law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School, including a semester at Trinity College in Dublin. She was called to the bar in 2004 and practised in Toronto before returning to Ottawa in 2005, where she worked at Dust, Evans and later became a partner at Nelligan O'Brien Payne LLP. O'Connor's practice covers commercial and residential real estate, including single-family homes, condominiums, multi-unit buildings, financing, secured transactions, and cottage conveyancing, along with commercial leasing and contract drafting. She received the Business Excellence Award for Professional of the Year from the Orleans Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Orleans BIA's board of directors.
