About Deanne

Deanne Kasokeo has practised law for more than 15 years, working extensively with First Nations on criminal, family, child protection, labour, and governance matters. She has appeared before Provincial Court, the Court of King's Bench, the Federal Court, and labour boards, and has served as legal counsel to three First Nations. She is a descendant of Big Bear (Mistahi Maskwa) and is also a published playwright.
