About David

David M. Smith joined Rodney Hull and Ian Hull's estate litigation practice in September 1997 and helped found Hull & Hull LLP with them the following year. He became a partner in January 2006 and also runs a mediation practice through Hull Estate Mediation Inc. David taught at the Ontario Bar Admission Course in estates and trusts from 1998 to 2005 and continues to lecture for the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Bar Association. He was called to the bar in 1994 and belongs to the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the OBA's Trusts and Estates Section, and the Toronto Lawyers Association. He was named among Canada's Top 60 estate and trust lawyers by LawDay in 2009.
