About Cristinel
Cristinel Ionut Daicu has practised criminal and penal law since 1999, first in Europe and then in Quebec since 2008, with a focus on economic crime and statutory offences. He also handles immigration matters and has appeared before the Immigration Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board. A member of the Quebec Bar since 2008, he holds a Certificate in Business Law from the Université de Montréal. In 2021 he passed the qualification exam for prosecutor positions with the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions (DPCP) and is on the roster of qualified candidates. He produced an interactive radio program called 'Mea Culpa' to make the law more accessible to the public and has researched burnout-related psychological injury claims. He joined Ticket911 in November 2022.
