About Courtney

Courtney AuBuchon is a Kamloops-based sole practitioner who has practised law since being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2010, focusing mainly on estate disputes and administration under the Wills, Estates and Succession Act. He represents executors navigating probate, beneficiaries seeking fair treatment, and disinherited children or spouses pursuing claims, and also maintains a construction law practice for local builders, contractors and homeowners handling builders liens and contract disputes. He has appeared before the BC Provincial Court, BC Supreme Court and BC Court of Appeal, and also offers mediation services as an alternative to litigation. He holds a psychology degree, which he says gives him added insight into the family dynamics that often underlie estate disputes.
