About Conrad

Conrad Lord holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1991. He previously worked as a Crown prosecutor and as a municipal-court prosecutor specializing in Highway Safety Code offences, before moving into private practice as a criminal defence lawyer. He is the principal partner at Lord avocats. He has served as president of the Association des avocats de la défense du district de Longueuil, chaired the Barreau de Longueuil's criminal and penal law committee, and served on the board of the Montreal criminal defence lawyers' association (AADM). He has also worked part-time as a coroner and held interim executive management roles during corporate restructurings. He holds the Certified Corporate Director (ASC) designation from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés, specializes in financial crime and corporate ethics and governance, trains other law firms for the Barreau du Québec's mandatory continuing education, and provides legal commentary on judicial affairs for TVA, LCN, Radio-Canada and CBC.
